Children’s Playgroups

We have playgroups for all ages, from birth to school age children.  It’s a great way for your child to meet and play with other children.  It also gives our moms a chance to get to know other moms and share the experiences of parenthood.

Little Tykes Playgroup– A weekly playgroup for children from birth to approximately two and a half years old.

Preschool Playgroup – This group is for children approximately two and a half years old up to children that may be attending pre-k and meets weekly.

School Age Playgroup – A bimonthly group for kids pre-k and up.

The Sunshine Committee

Any time a mother needs a helping hand, our group of women combine efforts to provide that family with a full meal and dessert. Reasons for the meal support could be due to an illness in the family, a personal crisis, or the birth of a child.

Also, this committee keeps track of all of our mothers’ birthdays!

Monthly Mixer

Once a month we hold a business meeting with all of our members to discuss upcoming events.  Often we have a speaker from the community sharing with us a broad range of topics.

Secret Sister

We are the everyday “Secret Santas” group in MOMS Club®.  We sign up and exchange names to receive a gift and at the same time we will give our Secret Sister a gift each month for three months.  At the end of that time we find out who our Secret Sister is at a reveal gathering.

Moms’ Night Out

Hard working stay-at-home moms need a night out on the town with their friends.  We enjoy this activity once a month whether it is at a movie, a restaurant or any other place where we can have fun together.

Holiday Parties

We plan a small party for most of the major holidays.  Sometimes it is with a potluck, sometimes games are planned, sometimes it’s indoors, sometimes it’s outdoors.

Scrappin’ and Yappin’

Twice a month we gather the ladies of the group for a chance to scrapbook together as our children play.  We share tools and ideas to help create or scrapbooks.

Craft of the Month

A mother’s crafting group!  Once a month we plan to learn or relearn a new craft.  Some of the different crafts we have planned and have already tried include basic sewing, crocheting, wreath making, floral arranging, jewelry making, pottery, basket weaving, one stroke painting, sculpting, jar painting and amazingly a lot more.

Meet & Greet

Every quarter we gather to celebrate our new members.  Whether there is one new member or many we have a party in their honor.  We bring a dish to share and we eat together.  To give our members a chance to get to know each other better we try to keep this a kid free event.  Therefore, we have it on a Saturday morning when husbands and babysitters are usually available.
